From the Earth...Revisited

An Incredible Raku Fired Space Helmet! About 11"W x 16"T, all clay and three glass beads. I also made a retro 1950's sci-fi paperback book cover as a placard.

So I'm entering a juried exhibition called, "From the Earth: A Fine Art Harvest of Still Life and Clay Works." I think the jury's expecting pictures of flowers and fruit, and maybe some nice pottery cups and plates with nuts and berries on them.

I interpreted the "From the Earth" theme a little differently.

Oh well.
